In early 2020, as COVID hit the US and the world, NBGS and it’s team of researchers/scientists, specification developers, and medical device experts realized that the fight in stemming the spread of the virus didn’t necessarily involve just personal protective equipment. Yes, PPE would be a large part, but it had to include mass ongoing multiple field testing for the virus. In January 2021 NBGS acquired ACS, Advanced Clinical Solution, a CLIA certified high complexity laboratory to expand its research and development into the Sars-CoV-2 virus with the key goal of creating easy to use and affordable point of care invitro diagnostic lateral flow tests.

Our Technicians are are highly experienced and receive up-to-date training on the latest diagnostic laboratory technology.  We are licensed by the New Jersey State of Health and Human Services, and accredited by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as a Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) lab.  We are also licensed or accredited with a variety of other federal, state, and local authorities.
